Have a book or books you would like to have reviewed. Submit your work to our Publisher Liasion. Check below for JERR’s submission requirements and contact information.

Submitting your book for review: 
 

STANDARD GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF BOOKS FOR REVIEW:

1.  Any books submitted have to meet JERR's definition of erotic  romance.  This means  the main plot has to center on the love story between the main characters.  A HEA  (happily ever after) is optional.  However, any book submitted has to end on a  positive note or a "happy for now" type of ending.

2.   The language in the love scenes has to be bluntly graphic (leave nothing to the  imagination aka sex with open doors), irrespective of how many love scenes are in  the book.

3.   The book has to be 11,000 words or more.  If an anthology, all the stories in the  anthology have to meet this length requirement.

WE DO NOT REVIEW:

** Horror (even if it has romantic elements)
** Urban Fantasy (unless it is a romance cross-genre type heavy on the romance element)
** Erotica
** Erotic chick lit
** Books that we have already reviewed, even if they are re-edited for publication in another publishing house. 
** Compilations or "omnibus" versions of collections including stories previously reviewed by JERR as single titles.
 

If you have a book that was previously reviewed and wish to update the purchasing information, please notify us, providing the accurate new information. A note will be added at the end of the review indicating that the review refers to the original version of the book.  

We welcome direct author submissions, with no restrictions, as long, as the story meets all of the above requirements.

 

TO PUBLISHERS:
Your company should have been in business for no less than 18 months for us to review your books.  This also applies to any imprints (even if the company itself has been in business for the minimum 18 months we require).  If the books you would like for us to consider reviewing meet this criteria as well as the above guidelines, please feel free to send us a listing including: book title, author's name, and blurb/synopsis. 

Please be aware that do not accept automatic submissions of all new releases. 

If your company meets the above requirement, simply send us a listing of your new releases and we will proceed to request those books for which we have reviewers interested.

JERR does not provide advance reviews as such. All ARCs/galleys received and accepted are placed in the queue like any other books. Once the review is available for publication, it is published in the newsletter as are all other reviews.

We prefer to get books in pdf or html format but we do accept other formats as well.

Should you wish to link to our reviews, they are available in the website 3-4 weeks after publication date.  We do not provide links to reviews as JERR is NOT a reviews website, but a publication.  We are and have always been, a reviews newsletter.  The website is used merely as storage for the reviews.  To receive all of the reviews in your inbox, simply subscribe to the Yahoo group we use to mail out the newsletter.  We also upload a list of all the reviews out in a given issue via our blog.  We do not provide links in the blog.

If your book meets our guidelines or if you have any questions, please email us.  If you are ready to submit a book for review, simply include in your email all purchasing information** along with a blurb.  Inclusion of a copy of your book along with your query is optional, but inclusion of a copy of the book does not guarantee that it will be picked for review.  If you wish to submit a print book, the above guidelines apply as well, just drop us a note so that we may send you our relevant contact information.

**We exclusively review books/stories that are published or contracted for publication (be it self-published or by conventional means).

**Our accepting a book for review does not provide an automatic guarantee that the book will be picked for review, though we do our best to provide reviews of every book we accept.  JERR does not provide a guarantee as to date of publication for any reviews. All the books received and accepted are placed in a queue on a first come-first served basis and remain available to the team for a period of six (6) months, after which period of time they are removed from the listings of books available for review, and destroyed.
