My first glimpse of Michele Bardsley's cyber home was impressive and left an impact on me. I was taken away with this funky and totally lighthearted and professional website. Ms. Bardsley writes erotic romances and contemporary stories. Her website caters to both these genres having an inviting look and feel upon entering this author's domain. The backdrop to this original and pleasing website is an unvarnished white that vies with a range of mauves, pink and musk. I simply love the bold masthead on this website, with accents of red in the color scheme that carries through to all the linked pages.
There are the usual links situated on the left of the screen in a fun design. There is some interesting information for her fans and writers under the link "Meet Michele". Included are the Readers Q & A which gives some insight into Michele Bardsley the person. There are also a series of interviews that you can read via links on this page and articles by the author. Her "Bookshelf" lists of all her books, by publisher, including her back copies and the numerous awards Ms. Bardsley has won, including her two EPPIE awards. Her "News & Updates" will keep you abreast on upcoming releases, fun news, and appearances. She also has a "Media Kit" that opens to a new browser. An interesting aspect of this website was the blog-like entries in the "Diary of a housewife" link. And the "Newsletter" contained information on how to join the "ReadaliciousNews" newsletter by using the link via her groovy lip's graphics. Visitors also have the option of reading this year's archives. The "Contact" link is self-explanatory as is the "Home" link. All the links are in perfect working order with current information. There were no pop-ups or flash graphics to distract those with dial-up connections.
Michele Bardsley's designer deserves congratulations on doing such a great job with this functional, fun and eye-catching website. I can highly recommend a visit to Michele Bardsley's website, especially if you want to find out about her latest releases, or what her works in progress are and discover a little more about her writing style. This is one site I'll be visiting often.
